Tyco MIM800 Mini Input Module 555.800.001
The Tyco Minerva MX MIM800 (555.800.001) is a small addressable module designed for monitoring a single input circuit. Tyco MIM800 can monitor normally open or normally closed inputs and provides open and short circuit monitoring of the line.
Tyco MIM800 is designed for fitting in small devices such as flow switches, special detection devices and explosion proof callpoints. A variant of the MIM800 is used in all call points and pull stations.
Tyco MIM800 can be programmed to supervise:
- One circuit of multiple normally-open contacts, with short circuit alarm
- One circuit of multiple normally-closed contacts, with open circuit alarm
- One circuit with a single normally-open contact, closing for alarm, with fault detection for short circuit. This requires a 100 ohm resistor in series with the alarm contact and appropriate programming at the MX CIE.
