Addressable Systems
Tyco’s addressable fire alarm control panels are intelligent, configurable, and expandable. They are capable of meeting a wide range of customers’ demands. The addressable control panels can pinpoint the source of a fire, alert, trouble, or other system event while offering a modular design and an intuitive interface – features that make them easier to install, increase in reliability, and easier to manage and maintain.
Conventional Systems
The marine range of conventional fire detection control panels are designed to be both installer and user friendly. Tyco’s conventional panels are developed and manufactured in the United Kingdom. It is designed to incorporate ‘State-of-the-art’ fire system monitoring that is presented in an easy to use format
making it obvious to users where a problem has occurred. Crew members can immediately see what is happening and plan their response from various locations onboard the vessel.
Hazardous Area Protection
Intrinsically safe fire detection equipment is defined as “equipment and wiring which is incapable of releasing sufficient electrical or thermal energy under normal or abnormal conditions to cause ignition of a specific hazardous atmosphere mixture in its most easily ignited concentration”. This basically means that intrinsically safe equipment and wiring operates using electrical and thermal energy below the level that would be required to spark an explosion in a hazardous area such as an oil refinery, Oil Rigs/Platforms, FPSO’s. Tyco offers a range of input/output modules and ancillary devices to enhance our control panel range and expand the capabilities of the system.
