Thorn Security MF301 Ionisation Smoke Detector 516.020.002

The Thorn Security MF301 516.020.002 smoke detector is an ion-chamber smoke detector which forms part of the M300 series of plug in detectors for ceiling mounting.

Thorn Security MF301 516-020-002 detector uses an ionization chamber to detect the presence of both visible and invisible particles (aerosols) produced in fires.

The Conventional Thorn Security MF301 is compatible with the full range of MINERVA fire panels including XL, NT, Minerva 1-4, System 1600, System1700 and MINERVA analogue addressable panels.

Key features include:

• Polarising base – to prevent insertion of wrong type of detector or unauthorised exchange
• Optional Locking Kit – to prevent unauthorised removal of detectors
• Visual Indication – all detectors possess integral LED Indicator to show fire condition
