Tyco 5BI 5″ Isolator Detector Base 517.050.018
With all the features of the 5B Universal Base the Tyco 5BI 517.050.018 Isolator Base allows any or all 800 Series MX Detectors to be upgraded to incorporate bi-directional short circuit isolation.
Alternatively, the Tyco 5BI implemented between zones to provide short circuit isolation according to BS5839 Part 1 and EN54. The 5BI used as a standalone line isolator fitted between callpoints and other ancillaries.
The 5BI offers improved performance over the superseded 814IB.
For humid and environmentally challenging applications such as marine or offshore installations: Optional DHM-5B Deck Head Mounting available separately.
