Nohmi Bosai FDS-511B Ionization Fire Detector Exposed Type
The Nohmi Bosai FDS-511B ionization fire smoke detector is an exposed mounting type. The detector is designed to be mounted on a deckhead or similiar overhead position. FDS-511B consists of a mounting base and the ionization smoke detector head.
The FDS-511B ionization detector reacts to visible and invisible fire aerosols (products of combustion) on the principle that the electricity conductivity of the air changes in the presence of fire aerosols.
The actuation of the detector also causes the response indicator built in the detector to flash for the location of the alarming detector.
