Federal Signal CTS2-300, CTS2-600, CTS2-1250 and CTS2-2400 AudioMaster® Public Address High-Powered Amplifiers
The Federal Signal line of high-powered audio amplifiers (CTS2-300, CTS2-600, CTS2-1250 and CTS2-2400) provides the flexibility, quality, and performance required in a public address system. AudioMaster® amplifiers are available in four different power ratings from 150 to 1000 watts per channel, and can be independently configured to drive either the step-down transformers in a distributed “constant-voltage” loudspeaker system (70-volt or 100-volt mode) or a system of loudspeakers that do not require step-down transformers (8/4 Ohm mode). The 70-volt and 100-volt outputs eliminate the need for step-up transformers, which can create distortion and cause insertion loss.
The amplifiers and speakers protected against shorted outputs, DC, mismatched loads, overheating, over or under supply voltage and high-frequency overheating. An AUX port provides additional flexibility for amplifiers to be integrated in control systems for remote on/off and amplifier monitoring.
Network monitoring and control models feature continuous load monitoring, comprehensive error reporting, pilot tone monitoring and programmable General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) parts.
When combined with the AudioMaster AudioRouter and the complete line of AudioMaster Speakers, these high-powered amplifiers are a key component in a high performance, industrial public address system.
