Federal Signal SLM700 StreamLine® Modular Electronic Sounder
The Federal Signal Model SLM700 is a multifunctional electronic sounder developed with a multiple input technology that produces two different tones (one per channel), controllable via independent electric contacts.
There are 64 unique tones to select from across two switches (32 tones per switch). The volume of the tone is adjustable between 86-105 dBa @ 1m at three output levels (high, medium, low) through an integrated button. Federal Signal SLM700 body material is a self-extinguishing polycarbonate material with high impact and UV resistance suitable for outdoor applications.
Key features include:
- Compatible with 12-24VAC/DC or 120-240VAC (Voltage is dependent on selected base sold separately)
- PLC compatible with PNP or NPN connections (Except Dock Base, only NPN)
- Choice of 64 selectable tones (32 per input selectable via DIP switch)
- Produces two tones at three adjustable tone levels
- Adjustable volume between 76 dBa to 95 dBa @10′ (86-105 dBa @ 1m)
- Seven mounting base options
- Type 3R, IP65 enclosure

Mounting bases are rated Type 4X. Final product rating is determined by top module. In combination with SLM700, the unit is Type 3R, IP65. For added protection, install with included retaining ring (SLM-RR).
