Salwico NS-SCI Short Circuit Isolator N11891
The Salwico NS-SCI (N11891) is an analogue addressable short circuit isolator for the NSAC-1 fire alarm system.
The fire detection loops are divided into fire detection zones by short circuit isolators. If a short circuit occurs on a loop cable, the zone with the short circuit is disconnected from the rest of the loop by the NS-SCI N11891 units mounted in the beginning and in the end of the zone.
When a short circuit is detected, a yellow LED on the NS-SCI N11891 is lit. The LED is lit until the fault has been remedied and reset at the control panel.
The address of the NS-SCI N11891 is set with a DIP switch. The NS-SCI is polarity dependent. PCB part number N11892.
